Our Team

Cédric grew up in the world of food service. His training in hotel and restaurant management in France took him through multiple restaurants and hotels during his studies, where he learned what actually makes a kitchen work: planning, discipline, and respect for ingredients.

When he moved to Quebec, he discovered the richness of local Québécois products and wanted to make them more accessible. In 2005, he founded Terroirs Québec, the very first e-commerce shop dedicated to Quebec terroir products. For 14 years, he built bridges between local producers and families who wanted to eat better, before selling the business in 2019.

His path then led him to Cook it, where he served as Director of Technology. That's where he saw firsthand the daily challenges Quebec families face: not enough time, not enough inspiration, food going to waste, grocery budgets stretched thin. He also saw the limits of existing solutions.

Today, he leads AI Ops at a Montreal startup and brings all of that experience to FoodPilot. The idea: combine his e-commerce expertise, his passion for food, and the power of AI to help Canadian families plan their meals, save money at the grocery store, and eat better, without the hassle.
